As a result of 6 consecutive successful editions, the Lebanese Film Festival has become one of the key cinematographic events bringing together film directors and cinema lovers in Lebanon.
The program is open to films and video works directed by Lebanese cinematographers - or from Lebanese origin. This allows us to offer to our audience a complete panorama of the local cinematographic production.
Focus on the future : Né à Beyrouth and Hedgehog unite for the Festival
In the course of the past six years, Né à Beyrouth invested human resources, time and passion in the Lebanese Film Festival and shaped it to what it has become today: one of the major cinematographic events in the country.
With the Festival growing in importance, Né à Beyrouth and HEDGEHOG; a leading company in motion graphics and post production in Lebanon; decided to join forces this year for the organization of the event’s 7th Edition. This partnership offers a stronger institutional character to the Festival by bringing together key players of the Lebanese cinema industry. Furthermore, the Festival will be emphasizing the Animation section of its program by giving out the Hedgehog Best Animation Award as of next year. Finally, this collaboration endorses the event’s organization by combining strengths and efforts from both partners.
For HEDGEHOG this event is a continuation of its mission statement to always make a difference in the industry. HEDGEHOG will endeavor to support young and enthusiastic cinematographers to better themselves by means of experimentation and artistry, and give a tremendous push for a growing animation production in Lebanon.
Together, Né à Beyrouth and Hedgehog are proud to offer a stage to the Lebanese cinema and encourage the cameras to keep rolling!
